Shop Sensual is a projective feminist pop-up that draws on all the senses to centralize pleasure and intimacy as a life-affirming act of creative resistance.

Through a curated selection of art, objects and personal items Shop Sensual provides the tools, toys and wares for a pleasurable future for all.

Created by Chelsea Ross, Kristen Kaza and Leah Ball (no longer involved), Shop Sensual began as a weekend-long event in Chicago featuring a market, exhibition and multi-disciplinary community programming. Our participants are proudly women, femme-, and queer-identified independent makers, artists, and entrepreneurs.

Are you feeling stuck or out of touch with your erotic self? Every person has erotic potential that many people are not accessing. They are many valid reasons for this: Cultural messages, messages from our family/peers growing up, sexual shame, trauma, disembodiment related to gender dysphoria, intersectional identities, etc. I believe that by empowering folks to explore their erotic minds, they will be able to access new avenues for pleasure. This workshop is designed to be inclusive of all sexual and gender identities, relationship structures, and current relationship statuses. Bring just yourself, friends, partners, and/or lovers. All are welcome. Come Curious. 18+.
